Yeah I got you on that CD, just saying that if your someone like an O/O who has an EZ-Pass, you could drop it.
Fredog, wasn't hinting against that, just that I don't like having Big Brother watching me even if I am doing everything by the book.

ALL scales record the time you pass whether or not you have pre-pass or ez-pass or anything kind of pass, if you doubt that, just ask Headborg

I've run with Pre-pass, and I've run without it. I also ran legal, and logged it as I ran it. (even when the owner of the company tried to tell me how to "beat" the system.)
But, when the scale was closed, the pre-pass would still go beep, and give me the green light to by-pass. I'd rather run without it for the simple reason, if they're going to know I went by their scale, they're going to have to be "ON THE JOB" just like I was to get that information. They don't deserve that information if they're home in bed while I have to be working.
Just my way of thinking.

You know those "metal cookie boxes"...
The ones that have a nice fitting metal lid on them...
Put the EZ-pass inside and close the lid when the scale is closed.
They don't get any signal from it. They won't have any way of knowing when you went through there, or if you even went by.
(aluminum attache' case also works.)

Well... you got that cheap WalMart version made in China.
Mine would beep.
I think it gave a WiFi audio link to the Scalehouse too,
so I always said rude things loudly and mentioned I was driving Commando!

Our EZ pass had never beeped before it went through the Oregon scales nor has it beeped since. We did'nt even know it would make a noise. To our surprise it did as we approched the scale house . Only by finding out from dispatch did we find out that Oregon scales had busted another driver by collecting information violations through the EZ pass device and there computers.
