My company has been using a TPA's service for the last 8 years and they are keeping us compliant since then.

Be aware of emails that note a change of financial data, attachments, links. These are basic tactics used by scammers to trap people.

STOP,BREATHE,THINK,RESPOND
stop after opening a random mail, take a deep breath and think whether the email is genuine or not, and then respond accordingly

Beware of unusual payment requests. Scammers will often ask you to use an unusual payment method, including preloaded debit cards.

Scammers often try to lure you in with phrases like ‘one-off opportunity, ‘guaranteed returns’. Never fall for such emails, just block and report them.

Never send money or give credit card details, online account details or copies of personal documents to anyone you don’t know or trust.

Verify the website’s identity before you make a purchase. Google them as it is the simple step of investigation that will take a few minutes.
