Well what to do, what to do?? I have successfully raised all the kids, the youngest is graduated and 18, also on her own..
So that is why I was gone so long.. after my wife died a little over 3 years ago, just didn't have it in me to post, argue, etc.. took all my attention to raise what was left of hers and mine.

So how the hell is everyone? I still see some names I have conversed with over the years before disappearing.

Hi, Slimland!!

Great to see you back!! Here's wishing you and your children all the best. The activity here at CAD has gone way, way, down over the past several years, and much in the industry has changed.

We've lost "Yooper", "ArdmoreFarmsForever", "UncleFester", and a lot of other folks from back in the day. "GMAN" and "GolfHobo" are still around. So are "Repete" "TwilightFlyer", "RidgeRunner, "Solo379", "Jackrabbit379", and "Roadhog". "Wimpy" has just recently returned, but I don't think "Popeye" has posted recently.

"Freebirdrfd" is still around, although he spends a lot of time out on the road playing in pocket-pool tournaments!!

Hopefully, you can also help breathe some life back into the place!!

 

Its good to be back.. I am free of kids.. lol..
I have my mindset back,, that took a while to get back, that was the darkest period in my life..
sad to see that the others are not here.. guess life is that way..
I have kept intouch with Redeemed via facebook. and for awhile there Windwalker and Roadhog via email..
Glad the RoadHog is still here.. lol

What I do now, is work, fish, and play my guitar.. just about it.. occasionally date a few.. but nothing serous, that way I can keep it a few. lol

I live a really simple life.. I enjoy it.

I still write lyrics and poems and such.. actually have about 7 to 10 muses that send me pics.. and I write about those pictures.

I look to maybe publish some, I am working on a set called "The Halls of the Queens" some are posted on my facebook, but not even close to all..

over the 41 years of my life, I guess I have written in all close to 200 or more, on various subjects.

I am still interested in those theological debates.. just havent done any since taking that leave of absence from here.

And RoadHog, my dad is doing well.. he is living in Turkey Texas.. He plays his music and does his thing. I have done a few myself. may have to send you a few to get your opinion.

I have had a few adventures in the past 3 years, they where learning experiences for sure.. FUN?? YES.. lol

 

How do I change my Signature?? You guys changed everything.. lol.. I cant figure it out.. I went to my Profile, but it wont let me edit it?

Sorry so late in replying. Things have been hectic for me lately. But... SO glad to see you back Slim!

So sorry to see good people like you, Roadhog and others go through such bad times! Especially when things have gone well for me lately! (Did you see my thread in the family forum?)

Anyways.... hope you stick around. I really hate it when people I care about disappear from the board! I still think of you everytime I see a cotton field!
