Still looking for children in a school (or two) in Moore. This is terrible! I think robertt's boy is older than that... so, hopefully safe. I don't want any more bad news. Ya'll know I'm not a praying kind. But... right now my ONLY thoughts are with Robertt and his family and friends in Moore. This **** is BAD! Our hearts are with you... Moore!

A sad confirmation about tornadoes, they do tend to follow the same paths, particularly ferocious one's like this one which onsite TWC people believe was an easy 5 now. Moore was leveled in 1999 by a 5 with speeds hitting 318 mph in a nearly identical path. Joplin was hit 2 years ago by a 5 that followed nearly the same identical path of one from decades earlier. The Tuscaloosa/Birmingham monster from just over 2 years ago, followed the same path of another monster from something like the 1950's. Remember the Greensburg 5? A year later another large tornado was headed right for Greensburg but turned just slightly before it got there and spared that devastated town another hit.

Not to play Monday morning QB but could the number of deaths been avoided in Moore? They had warnings for several days that it could be bad but only 16 minutes when it became apparent a major tornado was imminent. Moore had residents after the 99 tornado putting in bunkers left and right........those bunkers are only good to use if your at home though. Maybe I simply don't understand because I don't live there, where living with tornadoes is a way of life.

The news is just horrible and getting worse it seems. I thought the Joplin one was bad, a hospital had been hammered. This is worse, a school with kids still there gets hammered.........

Just saw a press release for 16 of the 24 killed, none were named Robert if that is indeed his first name.

Hope we hear from you personally robertt. If there is anything we can do for you and your family let us know.

Robert is his real name. I sent an email in hopes to hear he's okay. Tried the phone, but didn't expect that would work.

Saw another list of all 24 victims, no Robert on it. Real sad reading some of the stories of the victims who lost their life. I did see where they said that Obama will be there on Sunday to do something. Heard a report that FEMA has been playing politics with that whole area as far as getting govt. help for storm shelters. Help is supposedly available but when one attempts to use it, each flaming hoop you jump thru, FEMA pulls out another so the people and locale's basically give up on getting that assistance. Maybe he can drop kick some heads at FEMA over that. If someone in say Hawaii wants one to avoid a tornado, I could understand FEMA playing hardball, but playing with folks who live in Tornado Alley?
