Russia dislikes us but they have some smart scientists just like us, they do not want to see a nuke war, particularly one with basically a 3rd world country firing off regional nukes. The nuke winter could end up being world wide and would cause major problems for at least a decade if anyone fired nukes back. We would have real climate change at that point with a good chance no human survives depending on how correct the scientists' predictions are. Russia doesn't want that being a regional neighbor, again they may not like us or agree with us but they don't want to see innocent people in Africa or South America being seriously affected by a nuke winter if things get out of control.

Scientists can only speculate what would likely happen should several nukes go off. Unlike global warming, there is some evidence about what happens when a nuclear bomb is exploded. But, the experience that the U.S. or other nations who have developed and exploded a nuclear weapon has usually been with a single missle or bomb. It would take a number of nuclear missles to create any significant temporary change in climate.

While that is true GMAN, nobody has any idea just how many nuke warheads NK has at the ready that can reach Seoul and Japan. All of this would be right on Russia's southwestern doorstep and they do not want that at all. If it were South America they may sit back and watch. Remember, we are all certain that NK only has the ability to put the nukes on missiles that can only fly a short distance, aka: Seoul and maybe Japan, Guam is a serious stretch at this point. Where we lose certainty is if they have to ability to put them on the Musudan, if they can do that right now then they are a lot closer to being able to hit the US mainland with a nuke.

I don't think China really understands the seriousness here, maybe it's because they are too busy doing land grabs at home.

I think that it would take more than a few nukes to make any sort of change in our weather. But, just one nuke could cause massive destruction and the fallout that could be carried by the trade winds could cause the loss of many thousands of lives. I read an article that discussed Obama and how many world leaders consider him as being a weak leader. That is never good when your enemies consider you being weak. But, then, perhaps North Korea doesn't consider Obama as an enemy.

Again, nobody knows whether NK has a few or 10 for short range nukes. Add in that we may drop a few ourselves to defend SK and the number quickly adds up. Who knows, maybe India and Pakistan decide it's a good time to fire a couple themselves at one another while this is all going on. Maybe Iran decides to aid NK since they have suddenly gotten a little more cozy with each other. Iran may be tempted to fire off a nuke or two at Israel and SK.

Only our enemies seem to consider Obama as weak. I would believe they feel John Kerry is more weaker after they meet him, when things get tough he changes his stance. Obama has stayed the course on his views and ways, that's not weak and Ding Dong knows that. They can't handle a war with us, he knows that Obama has no bones about striking back rather quickly as we've shown in the war games. We can put a couple of B-2's with nukes over Pyongyang in just a few hours time from Missouri. He's also shown he's not afraid to pull the trigger even when a plan goes awry. A truly weak leader would issue a recall.

Obama is considered weak by many of our allies. A true leader understands how to motivate others to follow him. Obama only knows how to rule through intimidation and threats. That is not a sign of a true leader. It is a show of weakness.
