One of the things I had considered an advantage when I was driving was the fact that no one limited me from smoking.....
TOBACCO, nothing else.
Today, as I'm working on stopping smoking, I found an article that might benefit some of the rest of you. No, it doesn't have anything to do with not smoking, Currently, the doctor has me on a low-dose of aspirin each day, but the benefit might go a bit farther than the heart.
Aspirin tied to lower lung cancer risk in women - Health - Cancer - msnbc.com
And, while the article talks about the reduction of cancer in women, often the benefits don't stop there. It may have similar effects on men. I didn't know that it was associated with a reduction in the probability of colon cancer and others, but from smoking, Lung Cancer does cross my mind from time to time. When I was driving, aspirin was the only pill I carried in the truck, other than some of the herbal and vitamin supplements. Although, at the time, the only time I took an aspirin was when I had a head ache.
So, how many of you do aspirin?????
