Taking any aspirin?
 

One of the things I had considered an advantage when I was driving was the fact that no one limited me from smoking..... TOBACCO, nothing else.

Today, as I'm working on stopping smoking, I found an article that might benefit some of the rest of you. No, it doesn't have anything to do with not smoking, Currently, the doctor has me on a low-dose of aspirin each day, but the benefit might go a bit farther than the heart.

And, while the article talks about the reduction of cancer in women, often the benefits don't stop there. It may have similar effects on men. I didn't know that it was associated with a reduction in the probability of colon cancer and others, but from smoking, Lung Cancer does cross my mind from time to time. When I was driving, aspirin was the only pill I carried in the truck, other than some of the herbal and vitamin supplements. Although, at the time, the only time I took an aspirin was when I had a head ache.

So, how many of you do aspirin?????

Everymorning I takes me a Does of BLOW ME and rest of the day all I want to do is lay around and tell the world to get screwed. Sorry but when you have been thru as much as I have been thru you have to have the attitude that if your not going to kill me you can KISS MY ARSE.

I take a low-dose aspirin every night before bed to help keep bp down.

I'm taking low dose aspirin as a replacement for the rat poison I was taking.

What I do find interesting is the fact that a lot of doctors do not keep up with the results of studies. Fortunately, it seems that my doctor is up on a number of them. She's not recommending that I stay with 2% milk. I can eat all the butter and drink all the whole milk I want (about a gallon and a half a day). She does not have a problem with milk fat. Milk, cheese, butter, but also have a good dose of oatmeal.:p
