Still fightin' off that damn shark.
![]() Actually very busy in the writing field now, working hard on turning it into a full time career when I'm not busy with my current full-time career. Hade's Gambit due out next month and I'm putting the finishing touches on my first solo novel, which will be heading off to the publisher in the next week or two for it's first round of editing. Hope to get a couple novels in the mainstream and generating some residual income and then "Katy bar the door!" :micro:

LOL...always loved that image.
After Hade's Gambit, the second book in the series is entitled "The Rise of Cain". We're still writing it, but got the cover art back on it a week ago...very cool stuff! Anyway, we're going to be in Chicago at the ComicCon in August, signing books, and we're going to run some sort of a contest where the winner gets turned into a minor character in the second book. Haven't figured out the specifics of it yet, but we're working on it. The one I am finishing up right now is the first book on what's going to be about a 6 book series...it's in the fantasy/sci fi genre and I say both, because it encompasses both. It's got a hot chicky babe assassin in it. You'd love her. I'm going to have my cover artist, Clayton, work her into the cover art and hope it comes back PG-13. But he's got actual comic book art experience (DC, I think) and you know how those amazonian super heroines look. :micro:

I'll tell you one other thing, too. I've got a boatload of outlines and storyboards for novels, including a horror story that features a trucking messageboard. No joke. I haven't decided if I'm going to turn it into a full length or work it into a short story and make it a freebie. If you're interested, I've got a few shorts already out on Yahoo Voices.
Michael Koogler's Contributor Profile - Yahoo! Contributor Network - contributor.yahoo.com Once I get my author's site built, I'll move them over there. But for now, if you've got a few minutes to kill and want a sample of my weird mind, you can check it out.
