Been at home since Dec 20th and not scheduled to go back out until Jan 3rd. Getting pretty bored now. If it wasn't so cold outside, I could find stuff to do. Never thought I'd actually miss driving down the road.

I know how you feel Malakai. Been home since Christmas eve and took the week off by choice. But, I'm still getting "itchy."

Of course... it's gonna be warm enough down HERE tomorrow for me to play a round of golf! [and I'm busy with my taxes.]

 

Funny. Since I retired, I really do not miss driving. Not at all. DOT and all the 4-wheelers that only half know how to drive... Weigh stations, restricted roads, shipping and receiving personal... Nope, I don't miss them at all. I really enjoy being home all the time. Wish I could have done this years ago.

 

...air hockey, or darts? or maybe hang out at WalMart ....

I haven't had a chance to talk with her yet, to wish her Merry Christmas, or Happy New Year.

I was kinda mad, she wasn't answering her phone for a couple days, but finally a lady named Shennaya answered, and said that number is a phone booth next to a bus stop in Detroit. Quite a coincidence her name was Shennaya too... well, close enough... so I tried to talk with her a little while, but she made some disgusted sound and banged the phone a few times (I can tell that sound) then hung up...before I could explain. (that happens allot too)

 

You've never seen the women that hang out at the bars and play darts/air hockey or the women at the Wal-Marts in WV, have you?
