I'm afraid I don't share his optimism. It really doesn't matter what the interest rate is, if the "middle-class" does not gain any buying power. And, the way OWS went global as fast as it did suggests that that buying power isn't there. Apparently, it's the same problem around the world, and very likely for the same reason. We're looking at another 9 years or better before there's any significant improvement here. Chances are that elsewhere, the story won't be a lot different. Government and financial institutions are not well connected with the majority of the public.

From what I've been reading, UK and Israel will both be in Iran. That could put you guys and the aussies right there with them. South Korea is a wild-card at this point. Kim Jong Nu is likely to be a "kid with a brand new toy". Hate to think of a teenager with a finger on the nuke button.

Hey Mitch, I'm sure this is nothing to worry about, I've heard it's just wargames. But have you driven by the beach lately? What's got me wondering is the sheer number of ships headed your way. I've never heard of 1/2 the Asian fleet involved in wargames. And what's this nonsense about stopping the NZ menace?
