Still sitting at the International garage awaiting repairs, but got some good news: There's a brand new truck sitting in Indy with my name on it. So, after my hometime I'll be heading into there to do the fun 'swapping' thing.

Still sitting at the motel. Talked to the garage and they said that it 'should' be finished sometime tonight. Ick...

Day, what, 4 now? The part is here - now just to get them to install it. I've seen enough of this little area of Cincy and wanna head home, esp since I was supposed to be there 2 days ago.

Hopefully (fingers crossed & knocking on wood) that the truck issues are behind me. Just picked up a 2012 ProStar with 1,800 miles on it. I like the engine-off A/C system, but it'll take some getting used to having the truck auto-start/run/shutdown on it's own when the batteries need to charge. I won't be pulling out of Indy until tomorrow morning, but interested to see how this MaxForce engine performs. I know that it's a very weird sounding engine, but idles VERY smooth and quiet. Today I get the fun of finishing setting everything up in it. Spent about 4hrs in the 90+ heat with high humidity moving everything to the new truck. Talk about kicking your ass - I was ready to die last night.

I *think* I'm done setting up the interior for me. One thing I really like in the new truck is the stereo unit. It's a CD player, but will also play mp3 cd's, as well as having a USB port for plugging in a thumb drive full of mp3's. It also has a direct line-in jack for the XM, which means no more FM stations overpowering the signal.
