Default Remember the thread about the snakes in Florida?

Seems that pythons are not confined to FL. They've been caught in LA bayous. And, recently, some guy near Miami got bit by an "AFRICAN GREEN MAMBA". It is also confirmed that there are cobras in FL. (seriously considering moving) A wild, 20 foot long snake, or one that can bring down a full grown elephant is a bit more than I want to deal with. Some of the most deadly snakes in the world have been imported, and they're trying to see if any of them have gotten loose. Green Mamba, Fer De Lance, Bushmaster, Monocle cobra, Austrailian Island Brown... what else do we need?

It is too bad that they can't find the people responsible for releasing those snakes. I am surprised the environmentalist have not jumped on the bandwagon. Deliberately releasing new breeds of animals into an environment can have long lasting effects. Perhaps they need to have a bounty on the snakes or at lease encourage hunters to kill them. I wonder what would happen if some of those snakes crossbred?

The Egyptian Horned Viper, aka: Desert Horned Viper, is what you need now!! That thing looks downright scary, they say you have something like 25 minutes to get the anti-venom in you or your dead as it carries about 13 different poisions to put into you.

The only good snake is a dead snake! The same goes for spiders and scorpions and alligators!

They could have open hunting season on snakes in Florida. Unless they stop them they could spread all over the country. They could sell the meat in restaurants and skins for boots, shoes and belts.

I totally agree. I have no use for snakes. They should all be killed. :smokin:

The environmentalists have bigger problems to worry about, like stopping Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmaann, Carly Fiorina and Christine O'Donnell.
