I listen to this song all the time and love this live version of it. Hopefully sometime I can catch Satch live! Thanks for posting.

photo of my most recent guitar, 1965 Epiphone FT 45N called the "Cortez." (made in Kalamazoo)
My sister got this at a yard sale for $5. This thing is in excellent shape, with a perfect neck.
This guitar is more valued between low end $800 up to a couple thousand.

I'm not the biggest Steely Dan fan (a bit "lite" for me), but I always enjoy "making of" features, and I particularly enjoyed the bit where Larry Carlton talked about his role in the process. Thanks for posting that, MichiganDriver - really interesting stuff.
