Hate Capital One for allowing themselves to be forced to take a bailout even though they didn't need it then having to play by the Feds rules which was to jack up interest rates across the board. I was locked in at 9% and they wanted to take it to 17.9% so I closed my account. Had been with them for 10 years........

Hate Sears and their now junk Craftsman tools. Nothing in Sears holds up anymore after a couple of uses.

I'll go along with Sony.

Who else do you know that would sell you a camera and then design software that prohibits you from emailing the picture to friends and relatives. When questioned, they said they were protecting the copyrights held by the people that own things you may take pictures of. The example they gave was, if you take a picture of your child in a Bugs Bunny Halloween costume, sending that picture to others could violate the copyright that Warner Bros. has on the Bugs Bunny name and image ignoring the fact that you paid for the right to do exactly that when you purchased the costume.

The did a similar thing with music CD's a few years back and were charged with designing and distributing a computer virus because their CD's installed a rootkit when you played them on your computer. The purpose was to prevent you from copying the CD's but it prevented you from copying ANY CD on your computer even if you had created it in the first place.

I don't need people like Sony in my life. I purposely avoid anything and everything made by Sony.

I forgot about Sears and I worked there for 16 years after which I was laid off on a Friday night after working 4 hours O/T at my bosses request
they are the sorriest company on the planet and they have been going downhill even faster since K Mart (which I also hate) bought them
