If possible, just stay on I-20 around the south side! Do NOT take I-30 through the middle cuz it's a mile or two shorter! :lol2:

Depends on where you're going, of course. And like GMAN said.... try to plan it for off peak hours!

i-30 through dfw would be a very bad idea if you're loaded higher than 13'6. i've gone through all of the freeways, highways, fm's, and the such in a pete 387. i didn't have any issues. if you're at 13'7 or 13'8, or something like that and more along us59 between nagadoches and lufkin, you'll have to route around the low clearance on the high load route on some fm road. you'll know you're too high if the lights on the warning go off.
