No toll for I-80 in Pa

What the feds looking out for where our money is spent?
Federal gov. rejects plan to toll Pa.'s I-80 - The Mercury News: Pottstown, PA and The Tri County areas of Montgomery, Berks and Chester Counties (pottsmerc.com)
The Federal Highway Administration said it rejected the application because money from I-80 tolls could only have been used to operate and maintain the highway itself, but Pennsylvania's application went beyond that

So sorry ED, guess you will have to find another way to help support mass-transit in the 'Burgh and Philly. By the way, don't let the door hit you in the azz on your way out:rofl:

They had been looking to collect a whole lot of money with a toll on I-80. And, I'd be willing to bet that they're doing more than maintaining I-76 with the tolls they're collecting there. Same goes for OH. But, they're not looking at the impact on neighboring states' economy either.

The governor has previously stated that they have used highway funds for other projects such as mass transit and parks, etc., These people should be thrown in prison for misappropriating public funds. I would bet that they had already started spending all that anticipated toll revenue. I would say throw them out of office and into prison for their deeds.
