I agree hit the cowboys in the wallet. No need for that kind of speed in the winter out in that state. I have been passed out there more than once by some cowboy. Who later put it in the ditch because of excessive speed in the winter.

Our trucks couldn't pull a wire off a fence post, but they can bury the speedometer going down hill.

I had one like that Fleet 310 Cat and I was hauling Haz-Mat to Baltimore which meant I-68 for me. Then the dang thing blew her AFS and lost another 50 ponies. Ever been passed by a turtle UP HILL. That was me that day.

Going down some of those hills, you can get a loaded wheelbarrow over 90. It doesn't take much horsepower, and even a governed truck can roll down those hills. Years ago, I know a driver that had a truck (company) governed at 60, but hit over 120 mph going down one hill. The only place being governed really affects you is going up the hills.
 Now....mind you...I NEVER DID THIS......but once upon a time...when a driver thought it was time a truck needed a new engine....letting it go down one of the "Sister's" was common......re-engage the clutch about 2/3 way down...and bang...call a tow truck!!  Gravity is awesome!! :lol2:
