*facepalm*
At least he was pulling a blue trailer, and not a white or yellow one with a liftgate on it. ;-) That kind of crap does get on my nerves, especially when it's one of my co-workers, no matter how distant. Yeah, he may have been out of hours and could go nowhere else, but I agree, FIND A REAL PARKING SPOT! I can't count the number of times that I see folks pull that stunt when there's plenty of parking left.

Pardon the confusion, but the reason I said that was because I haul those liftgate-equipped trailers (right now, it's a white 53' with the old DG logo on it)... Ours just don't work very well. hahaha

I stalked you on your CAD profile and soon realized what ya meant
I'm temporarily pulling a rail-gate equipped trailer that is 51ft. Most of our trailers have the tuck-aways underneath to allow swing doors, and ultimately a wider opening for loading. Some even have remotes! Gotta keep them greased at least weekly, and excercised. The tuck-aways I spray the hell out of with Zep weekly when I pull one and work it back and forth. It doesn't take much to get crap in the rails and it will bind and not work at all.
