I would use the Petro 3 miles up the road anyday then that junkyard of a Pilot in Pittston. You have a VERY GOOD chance of losing your hood there. I NEVER used that place. Didn't care if my backhaul was 1 mile down the road from there.

I don't know if anyone knows this, but they use runoff water from the nearby hills to supply the showers... I don't think I'd take a shower there, but the parking is ok...

Clean bathrooms, and a nice spacious store.

If only they were all that nice.

12 years of driving and you think THIS is a great truckstop? The lady at the back door who helped me find a phone book to get a cab to come get me and take me to a BAR, was pretty nice..... but, that place was crowded and PACKED! Parking lot no different than MOST Pilots, and laid out WORSE than ANY of the "new ones."

I could name at least 5 right now with the SAME "layout." But then.... I usually frequent Pilots with MUCH more room than this one.... and I can name about TEN of them!

What are you doing back in CALI anyway? I thought once you were clear of "floored," you would stay in the Midwest where you belong!
