Default Truck Heists??

Have any of you guys been hearing about trucks being heists at truckstops in the midwest?? Esp.. West Memphis AR, Salina KS and i think Williamsburg Ky??

Frigging Salina, KS? what, cows can drive trucks now? haha....

I have not heard of any hijackings going on recently. Although I would not be surprised. Any time the economy is in the toilet the crooks come out of the woodwork. Just use caution and be aware of your surroundings.

I read an article in one of the trucking magazines that people are stealing cargo out of trailers from truckstops.

This is nothing new. Depending on your cargo, and the part of the country you're in...

I used to deliver HARLEY DAVIDSONs out to CA. There were times I would back the trailer against a building to make sure no one would open the doors too soon. One of the other guys backed his up against a tree. They cut the tree down and got in. Another guy found a huge hole cut into the side of his trailer, and half the bikes missing.

Go out to the east coast, and it's meat. (or beer)

we get these messages on the qualcom telling us about incidents taking place at truck stops and what truck stops to avoid... West Memphis is always on there including Birmingham
