KSL is the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City, UT. Their coverage extends throughout Utah, plus parts of Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming via translator stations. While I'm sure this small story as initially reported was not picked up by any networks, I certainly feel that the topic is extremely important, especially given the current economic situation our country finds itself in.
If only one person sees that initial story, and puts false faith in a 3 week course at a truck driving school being the answer to his prayers right now, then the story did a disservice. If Mr. Cabrero follows through on his expressed interest in providing the "rest of the story," and it saves one person thousands of dollars wasted on training that will do them no good, then it is worth it. KSL is viewed in Northern Nevada, Idaho, Northern AZ, Western CO, WY, Western MT, and on many cable networks. KSL is also based down the road from a favorite CAD nemisis....C. R. England.

Many people are finding a great new career in newspaper reporting. it is a very easy and well paying job.
one trainee says... it's great, you dont have to do hardly anything, you just take an hour or 2 to research a story which consists of making a few phone calls, reading a few e-mails and then you report everything you heard as fact, you dont actually go out and talk to people, that would require time, we hurry up and get the story out and then go on to the next one. another trainee said.. the thing I like best is there is no accounting for your story, if someone points out a mis-truth, you just say they took it out of context If they offer to show proof that your story is wrong, you just call them a few names and explain that you dont have time to research everything, what can they do? after all, it's only a story Doug, a trainee from North Carolina said he fully expects to make over $100,000 in his first year because he got an email from someone saying that is what they made Look for one of these top-notch new reporters at your local newspaper soon

It is no joke and he is the real deal. We have two famous people on the board. Rev and Tom Selleck. I wonder if the reporter will do a follow up story about how many of these new truck driving students either dont find a job, wash out of school or really lose their ass with a mega carrier Lease/Purchase but never own deal. Then we can hear how "trucking isnt really what the school or company recruiters made it out to be". Boo Hoo.

they will get a job. there are some companies that will actually hire even though they are at 100%+ capacity. Then they will sit, sit, sit for up to a week waiting on a load. Of course after so long of doing that, they will be back to other jobs.
