Walk stopped short...
#1
Was enjoying the ride thru Montana today and decided to stop at a rest area...was gonna walk down a bit further and get a better picture of the Yellowstone River...decided the picture I already had was good enough.

When you walk up to a sign like that, it's time to say, "Nice scenery. I think I been here long enough. I'll head back to the truck."

In Arizona some of the rest stops have beware of poisonous creatures and insects warnings, with pictures of scorpions
I actually walked around the desert one night trying to find a scorpion, never saw one in person, but I couldn't find one

Ha HA.... bunch of wusses!
![]() When I was about 13, I went to "camp" in Texas. They warned us about snakes and scorpions. They weren't WRONG! I got some close up looks at scorpions and snakes that year! They were everywhere! ![]() Black snakes? Ha! They only prey on little creatures! They're GOOD for the environment. Rattlesnakes are more "skeert" of YOU than you are of THEM! That's why God gave 'em a rattle! There's a GOOD reason why Cowboys wear BOOTS! Suck it UP, guys! No self respecting TRUCKER is gonna be "skeert" of a little SNAKE! :lol2:

I love snakes, cant tell you how many times I have had to relocate them from someones yard because they are afraid of them. Just pick em up and move em
. It is interesting because once you actually pick up a snake, and handle it, they realize you aren't gonna hurt them, and they relax and just hang out, never got bit by one.
