Default Is a dog a wuss for wearing a sweater?

LOL! My freakin dog wont go outside if its cold, snowing or even raining. He will "hold it" all day. He's a dobie so he has very short hair. I think he gets cold easy. Another trait of a dobe is they are known as "the velcro breed". Meaning they stick close by your side so even when its nice outside he still wants to be where I am so he wont stay out long unless I am out too. I'm thinking about getting him a sweater or jacket but do you they that looks kinda "gay" or "wussy"!

LOLOL!! I don't think he would mind! As long as you didn't get ot off the "Legally Blonde Doggie Attire" rack! Get him a little leather HD doggie jacket and a spike collar! Oh...and a little hat....as long as he doesn't look like Village Doggie...we wouldn't want that!

I dont think I would wanna mess with that dog, whether he had on a sweater or not.

I can imagine the winters yall have up there, Snowman. I know I wouldn't want to go outside with no clothes on.

he's a beauty. as long as you get him a 'manly' looking sweater, i think it would be okay. my old dog had a sweater we got him. my lab has a shirt i bought him too.

Depends on the type of sweater. I'd suggest a skull and crossbones.

Bloo I cant stop laughing at that "gay smiley"! I tried to give you some more rep but it wont let me!

Awesome websites Rev. I didnt know they made stuff like that. I was looking at Petsmart's website and everything was so dorky I think even the dog was saying "aw hell no"! :hellno:

The quality of the clothing at Petsmart is severely lacking. You're much better off going to a specialty store. You're going to pay more, but given how aggressive a dog can be towards objects, it will be worth it.

I dunno yet I'm still looking. Thanks for the replies though. I think I'll get him something.
