It's a slang term for carriers where they don't really care about you, or getting you home. Drivers at such companies are "indentured servants". Pay at such carriers is usually low. Many times used in conjunction with "dweller".

 

No wonder Big D didn't answer my Pm. Is he still banned? What board is he frequenting now?

well colts, since you brought it up. i did get banned, never once did i make any bones about it. what do i do now to get banned? disagee with people, and stand up for people. why did i get banned? i saw certain people going on and on insulting the people and companies that are otr carriers. repededly calling anyone that did otr stupid or morons. so i pushed the buttons just to see how far one could go and how long it would take same person to get banned. if i remember correctly it took 3-4 post with some very salty language before i got banned...that was about 2-3 post longer than i would hav thought. the mods actually are pretty leniant and will warn you several time before the actual banning takes place. for those of you looking for greener pastures for a forum, try headborgs. very limiting posts, by very few people. no where near as informative as this site,especially for new drivers. but hey, what do i know. i am just a dumb driver...afterall i thought i was getting away with something when i cam back here with a different name but a picture of angus young beside it. coltsfan, you and bigjeep are the smartest guys here for figuring it out. except for the 5 or six guys that did it before you.
