Default How to relieve stress...

No, it's not a joke. Read up on it and live longer... And, have a better quality of life.

More sex means less stress - Mental health- msnbc.com

What's it all about?? How about a couple of excerpts.

Quote:
More sex, less stress
Want to ward off anxiety? Grab your partner and feel tension slip away

Stress spikes blood pressure, but when you have sex, you release feel-good hormones, including oxytocin.

Yoga? Yawn. Research shows a great way to ward off anxiety is by connecting in bed. Grab your partner and feel tension slip away.

Stress affects me just as much as the next woman. I break out. I become short-tempered. And, of course, I reach for the nearest chocolate. But worry never seems to rock my sex life.

Or it didn’t, until a few months ago, when an unusually large number of looming deadlines began to curb my once unshakable libido. My husband, Steve, and I were under constant pressure, and at bedtime, I was so not in the mood. Steve’s blasé reaction to my refusal showed he wasn’t either. After two weeks without action (a long time for us), I began to worry.

“The grind” used to be what we did every night. Now it had become the definition of our days. They say stress kills, and I would argue that it’s true, especially when it comes to sex drive.
I could post the whole thing here, but your responses, if any, would start on page 3... Once before, I posted a thread that sex helps you to live longer, but did not save the link, and had nothing to back up what I said. (Hope I won't be making that mistake again very soon) But, it seems as though most married couples have no idea just how much of an effect their relationship with each other has to do with things like lifespan, and the quality of life.

Read and enjoy.

Does masturbation have the same effect? If so, I should have very little, if no, stress at all.

As I understand it, NO.
But, then... What do I know...

Relieving the stress is not the problem. The problem is finding a woman that is willing to help you with it.

Of course, it also affects women too. Maybe they're in a contest to see who can outlive the other on stress. In the past, women have been winning that one. On the average, they outlive men by 3 to 5 years. Not as important to relieve their stress, is it.

Well... Last time I was in one of those "adult stores", about half of the store was dedicated to videos and magazines. Of the other half, most was things for women, with about one shelf for men. Would that have something to do with the supply???:lol:

No wonder women don't want men in those stores. That way, they don't know what women are doing in their spare time...:roll2:
