I Have always visited Class A Driver's Message Board every day for almost 4 years now and I have to say this site sucks now. Who decided to Moderate the board with an iron fist? Why are so many threads getting edited and why are threads getting locked for stupid reasons?
Rev, you locked BigDiesel's thread for nominating someone as the biggest whiner? Your kidding right? Your nomination is that anymore of this garbage will result in administrative action? You better check your head because I think this Admin power is going to your head, just a little. You have been the one to try to push things as far as you could without going over the line and getting banned but when someone else makes a crack at someone you throw your "admin powers" around showing who has the biggest dick? Rev you are a Douche Bag! Your doing a great job of running people off the site! Keep up the good work. WOW!! And yet you're still a member here and not banned. Guess it was a slow day for you and this is what you thought you needed to spice it up. Regarding the content of your post, you have a valid point that there have been changes here at CAD. 1. The board was sold 2. A new ownership group took over 3. A new format has been presented 4. Essentially a whole new moderating team has been put in place 5. Some things about the board are brand new, some have not been replaced Change is inevitable and it is up to each individual to respond to it and either change their comfort zone or move to another site that is within their comfort zone. Constructive criticism is extremely welcome on this site. Some of our best board changes/options have been arrived at due to posters suggestions and constructive criticisms. When it became apparent that we would need a couple of new moderators, I was all about bringing in Rev and Gman. Both have been excellent in learning the techniques and computer work necessary to carry out their tasks. My only reservation when they both came on board as moderators was who would pick up the slack to keep the threads moving, as both we greatly valued posters and it is very hard to moderate and post as if nothing has changed. Both have done a great job of doing both and your post is not exactly what I'm looking for when I'm trying to see who can pick up the slack to become a poster who is continually adding to the quality of the board. Happy New Year!!

I feel that the philosophy that Rev is promoting, to argue the content of the post and not make it personal, is an excellent one at that. There is much to learn from a good debate. But when it goes personal, such as name calling and bickering, which I admit, have been drawn into, it can really take from the substance of this board.
CAD has a wealth of information and is an open invitation for those seeking answers and quality discussions. Given, there is a place for humor and a ribbing of its members makes it more personable, but, when the ribbing becomes an attack or being purposefully mean, then it takes from the credibility of the poster AND from CAD. I have no doubts that readers do enjoy getting to know the members personalities and soon learn who offers valuable information as well as find the personal attacks much like a nagging spouse or finger nails on a chalk board.

I'm not sure what being a new driver has to do with commenting on an issue with posters content......
No one asked me,but I think you BD tend to follow/stalk new drivers all around this forum and make comments on their remarks more than you make comments on the issue being discussed. Which is to bad because if you stuck to the thread topic I belive you give valuable info most of the time.
