Why riding out a tornado in your truck is a bad idea.
The Big Storm Picture A friend of mine is a spotter. I thought about riding with him, one time. Then again, when tornado season is open, I always find myself right in the middle of it.  I guess all that bad weather we have every spring/early summer makes up for the mild winters.

It gets tricky, for sure.
Sometimes, you don't know whether to try to out run it, dodge it, or stop until it passes. Keeps you alert.
