Talking Happy thanksgiving

be safe everyone. now i get to go to JFK airport this afternoon and pick up my aunt. yeah for me.

What I can't figure out is how I get volunteered to do the cooking every year. So much for any rest for me.

On the menu for this year:
Turkey (duh)
Cranberry apple stuffing
Sweet potato casserole
Garlic mashed potatoes
Pumpkin pie
Coconut cream pie

And, yes, it's all home-made (or at least 95% of it - I used canned pumpkin)

My papaw used to fix duck for Thanksgiving. And his Pecan pie. mmmmmm

we are having duck for thanksgiving. my family isn't into turkey.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

We have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I am grateful to live in a free country. I am grateful for friends and family. I am grateful that we have a military that is willing to leave their families to take the fight to our adversaries and the families who do without them. I am grateful that we have not had another terrorist attack this year. May you all have a safe holiday.
