What I can't figure out is how I get volunteered to do the cooking every year. So much for any rest for me.
On the menu for this year: Turkey (duh) Cranberry apple stuffing Sweet potato casserole Garlic mashed potatoes Pumpkin pie Coconut cream pie And, yes, it's all home-made (or at least 95% of it - I used canned pumpkin)

we are having duck for thanksgiving. my family isn't into turkey.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!
We have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I am grateful to live in a free country. I am grateful for friends and family. I am grateful that we have a military that is willing to leave their families to take the fight to our adversaries and the families who do without them. I am grateful that we have not had another terrorist attack this year. May you all have a safe holiday. |
