Did you actually read the link?

Snopes says very clearly that while it is true that these stores are closing locations, in many cases, they are opening new locations as well. In some cases, the information is outdated.

Yes, Rev.... I DID read the link. I also read the snopes article that the link led me to!

That's why I was jerked out of my usual zombie slumber while listening to Fox radio yesterday when I heard them tease the story. Then I actually LISTENED to the story on foxnews radio. There were slight differences, but it sounded like Fox was getting their "news" right off the internet emails!! :roll2:

The main thing that I heard that was different... or added new perspective.... was that those companies actually going through any kind of bankruptcy restructuring CAN actually "write off" the debts owed to/on these cards as part of the deal..... making them worthless.

At this time, I would think it prudent to not trust anyone on a "pay you today for a cheeseburger Tuesday" type of deal! They may NOT be around Tuesday to make my cheeseburger.

My main point was.... that as a democrat, my faith and trust in FoxNews has now been shaken to the core!

Please don't make me explain ALL my jokes to you in the future. :hellno:

I'm going to have to insist upon it. Please include several graphs and pie charts in every explanation.

Thanks in advance.

For the most part, it was correct, and it is good advice.
