As others have stated, I would go to a supervisor. That is a safety issue when someone is hittin the booz in a truck.

Well, went to a supervisor and he already knew. He said they looked into it and didn't find any evidence of the guy boozing. I actually talked to the guy today and he seemed like a real good dude.

Good deal! It may sound like "tattle telling", but that's beyond that when someone tips the bottle behind the wheel. That happens, it's time to stand up.

the next question is, will you tell the man in question what has been said behind his back?

Good idea VV. Clue the guy in on the "Suspicions" that have already been floated...without being derogatory towards him.

He could simply have a digestive problem that causes his burps to smell like Gin......Does Gin have a scent? I don't know...I don't drink it.

i don't know that i would. if he is drinking on the job, then a warning like that will give him an opportunity to hide it better. it might be a moot point given that a supervisor already is suspicious. what they need to do is bring him in and talk with him. hopefully his medical plan has an employee assistance plan that he could enter.

i don't know that gin smells, i don't drink but once a year and that's sangria. i know listerine smells, maybe that is what he's on.

Gin smells like juniper berries. After meeting the guy I seriously doubt he has a problem.
