Marion County Sheriff's Deputies Make Drug Bust After Traffic Stop

Deputies found thirty grams of marijuana on Christopher Birdsell.

FAIRMONT -- The Marion County Sheriff's Department has arrested a man on drug charges.

Deputies arrested Christopher Lee Birdsell, Thursday morning, for possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.

The criminal complaint says a deputy pulled Birdsell over for driving recklessly, over 100 miles per hour, on Interstate 79.

The deputy found about thirty grams of marijuana in individual baggies in Birdsell's pockets

Birdsell faces one to five years in jail if he is convicted.

He is out of jail on $20,000 bond.
Now, IF you were carrying enough weed on you to get convicted of intent, wouldn't you be someone doing 5mph UNDER the speed limit instead of 30mph OVER?

The answer lies within the article you posted:

He was clearly late for his intended delivery.

LMFAO - I didn't even think about that. Of course, for the past too many years, if I was running late, well, the load would just have to be late unless I came to a lot of downhills to gain speed and no uphills to lose speed.

Yeah, well you know how uppity these drug dealers are. If you even look at them the wrong way, they'll pop a cap in yo ass. I'd hate to think what they would do if you were late.

Don't forget belpre - my genius of a step-son spent 5yrs in a federal prison for selling. And, yes, that was local to me.

The more I think about that moron, the more I wanna beat him over the head with a 2x4. To top it off, after being out for a little over a year, he's selling again. When he gets caught this time, he'll be looking at a minimum of 25yrs.

Which fed facility? Maybe he knows my ex...he was in Leavenworth for that for like 7 years. From what I hear, he's been back in and out (not for drugs, though) of several New Mexico holding facilities (alcohol-related...he's proud of being drunk and disorderly). His mom just told me that he's been "sober" for 6 months. Good for him. But he wants to come back into our daughter's life now and she isn't even trying to hear that. She told me...too little, too late. Smart girl.

He spent his time at the facility in Morgantown, WV. The funny thing is that his cellmate was the Brian Thompson, who played the bad guy in the movie "Cobra" - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0859921/ - he was in there for selling steroids.

Malaki...........remember hearing/reading about Walter "Walt" Pavlo, and the whole MCI/Worldcom scandal? His family lived behind us for a few years before they moved from Belpre to Parkersburg and attended Parkersburg Catholic.

That SOB would knock me on my ass daily practicing football. He was (and probably still is) a very charismatic individual. Thought you may enjoy this article................hillbilly!

(Sistersville is a misprint..............Parkersburg is the correction)
