It always amazes me that there are people that will read a whole post and then complain about it. What, you can't figure out in the first paragraph you don't like it? You need to read the whole thing?

You all should try it, instead of appointing yourselves forum police and expecting any topic you don't like to get moved to what you deem the appropriate forum.
I read your entire post, and now I feel the need to complain about it.

You'll have to wait until they make a separate Complaints forum!

The suggestion has some good merits to it. However, when Jeff and Lucinda owned this forum they wanted to the categories as they are now.

The new owners may or may not be open to it. We shall find out though.

I feel it is unnecessary. In another month, I believe most of the political threads will dwindle to normal activity. My guess is the majority of us are burned out on political opinions, even our own.

I already have to move enough threads to the proper forum.
Besides, what will be next? A forum for religious topics? ..and what other special interests?

I like it just as it is. To be honest, I'd much prefer deleting political threads soon as I find them. So if we vote...I hope the vote to not allow political discussion, wins by a landslide.

If we do create a forum for politics, I suggest we also appoint a "board moderator." (a mod whose job is to moderate that one forum)

That's not how it works, duh.
First the motion must be raised.
Then someone must second it.
Then it can go to a vote. .

I find that especially funny, considering I left another "trucking" site solely because it became nothing but politics.
