We need a new forum section

We really need a new forum section here at CAD. One exclusively for political postings. This section is at least 50% political. How about seperating them?

Good idea

If you raise it I will second it and then we can put it to a vote.

And I will unfairly tax the rich to pay for it! :lol2::lol2:

But, as a practical matter, I don't know how they could "move" all the appropriate threads over to it. Unless they just started with the active ones.

Sounds like a practical solution to that issue.

Here is a novel idea...................... don't click on any topic that you aren't interested in reading. Or if you inadvertantly stumble upon a topic that doesn't interest you, hit the back button and move on.

It always amazes me that there are people that will read a whole post and then complain about it. What, you can't figure out in the first paragraph you don't like it? You need to read the whole thing?

You all should try it, instead of appointing yourselves forum police and expecting any topic you don't like to get moved to what you deem the appropriate forum.

Let me enlighten you to at least my particular reasoning......

I see that the "Anything and Everything" forums have new posts.

I go there and not often is the title conducive to let me know that the posts are political in content.

There are many such posts to review before determining that they are political in content.

The forum has a substantial amount of political posts, hence having it's own forum makes sense.

Not policing at all. Just trying to suggest more user friendly conditions.

Malaki86 10-26-2008 04:44 AM

Exactly. I have no problem with all the political postings, just put them in their own forum section. It'd be the exact same thing if all of a sudden everyone put all of their postings concerning rules and regulations into this forum.

Just put the topics into their own forum and all will be fine.
