Now, back on topic. Not the wardrobe... but the latest Sarahgaffe!
Have you seen where she got pranked by a Canadian radio station? They called her pretending to be the French president, and she bought it hook, line and sinker! They can dress her up.... but they can't give her a secretary to screen her calls! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have 4 kids but I didn't do it just to propogate the human race. Not only that, when I "get busy", it doesn't always result in conception...thank GOD!! But, the only people that I ask to give me some respect is those 4 little hoodlums that I spawned...and I'm still waiting to see a little of that respect from them.
But, that is why God made man and woman - it's just gotten out of hand, I suppose. However, I do know that - even though I do a man's job, I don't take partake in the welfare system, and I come home to another full-time job (which I love and wish it was my only full time job) - because I am a "mother", I get less respect and a lot of snide comments from the men sometimes (like..."I wish I GOT to take off whenever I wanted..." Well, I don't ever get to take off when I want...all my vacation time and sick leave is to take kids to the doctor, go to parent-teacher conferences, go to a play or musical or whatever school function is going on during working hours, and other things that need to be done for them...because their father can't take off work...it might affect his job). You don't have to respect me for any of that. I feel good about myself already. But, when you see me on the street or in a restaurant or running for office (like THAT will ever happen but you know what I'm saying)...just notice that sense of pride that I have in those ill-behaved hoodlums and don't think that because I have them (or have that many), that I'm not smart enough to do anything else besides have sex. Cause, DAMN, I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan...and still have the desire to get MY fulfillment in the sexual arena!! I MAY need a shoulder to cry on every once in a while though...because husbands (at least in my experience) are too busy pondering about how hard THEY work to notice when I'm on the verge of a come-apart. I work hard to hang with the big boys. Since coming to this board, I have realized that there are a few good men out there that do still respect women...they are just hard to find, usually because an unworthy, needy gold digging woman has already caused them to be cynical. Or, they are man enough to say, I love women but don't want or need the responsibility of kids or a difficult relationship. In all actuality, that deserves respect in itself...because honesty is also hard to come by. You said it all Bloo..And in my mind that's exactly WHY liberals hate Sarah Palin so much...she's successful, a mother, a wife...and <GASP> a CONSERVATIVE! You can't possibly be a CONSERVATIVE if you are a WOMAN...well I know I AM... and damned PROUD to be one too! I've said it before & will say it again...Stand on your own two feet & quit expecting the gov't to do everything for you...What ever happened to "When the going gets tough...the tough get going"? Now it's just "Oh woe is me...& stand around & wait for the gov't to bail me out of whatever mess I have gotten myself into" All I can say is THANK GOD I live in a place where liberals are on the "endangered species" list. And even those that come here from somewhere else either convert or go back where they came from...We are rednecks & proud of it! Here, men respect, honor, & WANT conservative women. In the 100+ years Alberta has been in existence we have never had anything but conservative governments. Oh, there are a few liberals in the parliament, but the more they whine about how the government does things the more seats they lose the next election.

You said it all Bloo..And in my mind that's exactly WHY liberals hate Sarah Palin so much...she's successful, a mother, a wife...and <GASP> a CONSERVATIVE! You can't possibly be a CONSERVATIVE if you are a WOMAN...well I know I AM... and damned PROUD to be one too! I am a successful owner/operator, I've been driving professionally for 30 years... I am a mother of 2 successful daughters, a grandmother of 2 wonderful kidlets, I am happily married, have a supportive HUSBAND and family. I DARE you to do the job I do everyday, but I don't run around calling you delusional cause I disagree with your views, nor do I think I'm better than you, just DIFFERENT. So you tell me where Mr. Obama has the material to be PRESIDENT, he has way less experience of ANY kind, hell he's never even held a REAL job in his life, let alone anything else. I and many other conservative minded people in the rest of the world are TERRIFIED that he will be your next president...want to know why?? I'll give you the BIGGEST reason right now... SECURITY OF THE REST OF THE WORLD!!! The rest of the world ABSOLUTELY depends on the USA for security...whether you like it or not...we need you much more than you need us. Dang! I was JUST about ready to jump back into this one and "debate" my friend Wildkat..... and then Jeep had to get her ALL riled up again!

We/they just think that (1) there are better ways to deal with threats than just bomb the hell out of people, (2) we can get more help from our allies if we CONSIDER their opinions on the matter, and (3) we can have a stronger military and defense if we aren't wasting our entire budget on a war of "choice" and "nation building" when we DO HAVE a serious threat to deal with. One example, KAT.... you say you "need us." I would guess that might include defense (of Canada) against a Russian invasion if someone came to power there with that in mind. How the HECK are we going to help YOU (or us) when ALL our troops and resources are over in the Middle East picking fights with every dicatator we don't like? And IF, indeed, you see the entire Muslim World as a threat to the existence of the free world, we BETTER get together and pool our resources and STRATEGIES on a plan to combat it on a global scale, with the help of EVERY ounce of military strength in EVERY "free" country, instead of alienating those who can help US help THEM as we have under THIS administration. America is NOT big enough, strong enough or rich enough to police the world by ourselves.... yet nearly ALL of our military might is bogged down in one little country! And, under a Republican administration.... how did THAT happen? If you think we are going to get EVERY terrorist to come to Iraq and die fighting us THERE, you are crazy! And, BTW, where are all the troops from Canada, Australia, Britain and others? Oh sure, there are a few there, but only a drop in the bucket. (The collective) YOU keep the bulk of YOUR forces at home for "national defense" and expect US to put all of OURS into the battle? What if we can't "keep the peace" with Russia, N. Korea, or God forbid... China? There are not enough men and women in ALL of America to take on the whole world in a war! That is why for centuries nations have relied upon diplomacy and compromise instead of "Wild West" arrogance! Not EVERY Democrat is a Liberal, but I believe BOTH understand the need for a strong American military and defense. FDR was both, and took on the Axis with a vengeance not seen before or since! But, he also knew the value of an "alliance." Bush is a Cowboy who thinks he can get drunk and whoop everyone in the saloon by himself if necessary! I, for one, am getting TIRED of the insults being hurled at Dems over national defense. History does NOT bear you out. Man.... I sure am glad I stayed OUT of this one!
