Ummmmmmm. Not to derail this thread or anything.....But why would dating a girl 10 years ago mean you would be the "VP" of a trucking company now?

Why...If the possibility were there to be a "VP", would you not have chased after that job.......with or without, dating a girl??

As for the original purpose of this thread.

Not for nothing Mack...but don't you think maybe your girlfriend has just been pointing out to you, that she feels "Neglected" by you?

Do yourself a favor if you truly enjoy her company........make her feel wanted.

My suggestion,

Take her to dinner and dancing afterward. Request a rather romantic song and dance with her. Buy the cd and send it to her a couple of days later.

Ah... the vision of Richard Gere enters my gray/grey matter.....

She doesn't want flowers i know that much. I was on Vermont teddy bears website them things are like 80-100 bucks:eek:. I'm not tryin to be cheap but i think thats alot of money for a 15" bear. She is going to school to be a nurse so i was going to get her a nurse bear. Does any of the female posters have any ideas for me.

I didnt send her anything last year and it wasnt a problem. All because her roommates boyfriends send their girlfriends stuff now i got to. Them SOBs. Costing me money.

Thanks,
Mackman

my girlfriend never asks me for anything. when I am done with her, I just fold her up and put her back in the closet.

Ok................here it goes..............

I agree with The Rev.........and Golfhobo!

The only thing that I would change is the classroom idea. Public place (dorm, etc) yes. A classroom might be a bit much.
Taste a little mouth puke there, Bel??

As for the classroom, that's why I said get permission. I saw it done once though, actually it was the teacher who got them (She wat HOT!) You should have seen how deflated all the guys in the room got!

Another good way is to take her to dinner at a nice place and have them delivered to her at your table.

All of these ideas are great. I was laughing my ass off reading this thread. I think i will stick with the Vermont teddy bear with our names on it. and stop being so cheap and just spend the 100bucks or whatever it might be.

About her being at college. This is her last year (thank God). Plus her school is a joke as far as party's go. She went to Penn State main campus her first 3 years. Now she is at Penn State in Hershey PA. I been up there like 3 weekends and it is nothing like the main campus. a Bunch of losers at Hershey. Last year when i went up to main campus it was party's 24/7. We see each other every weekend and 1 time a week we meet 1/2 way for dinner. So I don't have to really worry about other guys. Plus if there was they will have to deal with one very pissed off MACKMAN who can get crazy at times.

Why get pissed at the "other guys"?

SHE is the one who knows she has a boyfriend.

Good luck Mackman. I'm sure she'll love the gift! I'm glad you brought up this thread because it reminds me that it is about time I get my wife something nice. Everyone has been caught up in all of this political and financial madness (at least I have). It's time we show the ones we love how much we care about them.

So true. It it easier to shoot one sorry woman than a different man every week.

Too bad the SOB that broke my nose 20 years ago didn't feel the same way.
