I also use HP.
My first laptop was a HP Compaq Presario 2300. It lasted me 4 years, and actually I still have it, and it still works okay, but I doubt I'd get $20 selling it. I bought this new HP Compaq nx 7300 a couple years ago. It's a business class, which they claim has heavier duty innards. I hope I get a few more years out of this. Rev must get pissed at "certain forumites" and beat his keyboard, or download a lot of porn...to go though a laptop a year.  But then he is on the computer...a lot...lots...lotta...

The only laptop out there that will really handle our operation would be a panasonic toughbook, and the better ones not the cheap ones.
Every single laptop I've owned (one compaq and two gateways) a hinge breaks within 8-10 months. |
