I agree that the software needs to stop counting characters and smilies. Although it does put a limit on the amount of smilies that golfhobo can put in a single post.
How can a quoted smilie count against a limit on images, yet a couple of paragraphs quoted don't count as required characters? But, at least that keeps you from answering with a simple yes or no....(although "not exactly" still works!)
