i liked the "old school" feel of the old CAD...........how 'bout you guys.and gals...........

Yup, I was perfectly happy with the way the board was. Now we can't even have a decent size avatar. Oh well, maybe it will change.

Yeah, so much for all my awesome avatars. When the picture is so friggin small that you can't even barely see it, then it kinda defeats the purpose. No offense to the powers that may be, but vbulletin isn't all that great. I understand the reason for the change, but I wish it were possible for them to at least make it look more like the old version.

And where the hell are the quick links to the smilies?

I ain't too thrilled with the new format, but looking on the bright side, I still have the avatar you created for me Rev........saved it to my pc for just such an occasion..........LOL

now that would make a great tattoo.....!!!!!

And with as small as the new format makes it, I bet it wouldn't even hurt.

Get used to change, it's the only constant in life.;)

What was the reason?

To get smilies, go into your USER CP (Control Panel) and down to EDIT OPTIONS. At the very bottom, there is a Message Editor Interface option. Change it to Standard and you get the smilies. You can even kick it up another notch to enhanced, if you want.

The only issue with it is they are considered images and there is a 4-image limit per post.
