This isn't something new, a lot of crashes these days are due to a cellphone being involved and it ain't limited to car crashes anymore. The LA train wreck, what, last week? The train that was found to be at fault, the conductor was said to have been using his cellphone to text message some local kids just a minute before the collision. While doing his texting, he missed a sign that would have alerted him to switch tracks well ahead of time.

CT, as long as your not riding down the road with the QC up on the steering wheel doing that. I passed a Covenant truck doing just that at dusk one evening out on I-81 near Lexington, VA. I don't care who you are or how good you are, that is just stupid.
Question, if your eyes don't leave the road, then how do you read an incoming message before you respond?

We have a couple trucks testing out a new Qualcomm system. When a new message comes in, you press a button on the dash and the QC reads the message out loud through the truck's radio speakers.
