Cite one example of this happening, and explain how giving a deadly weapon to an untrained individual is ever a good thing.

You know, I actually don't have a problem with drivers possessing tasers. What I have a problem with is drivers possessing tasers with no training whatsoever. Since TA obviously isn't going to be providing training for using these things, they are acting irresponsible in selling them.

Does anyone know if owning a taser would be considered owning a firearm in relation to someone convicted of a felony?

I don't think they would be considered a firearm but I thought some convicted persons couldn't be in possession of a "Dangerous Weapon", Which I think a taser would be considered.
