Since cost plus pricing is based off the current oil prices (rather than the refined gasoline prices), that would indicate that the price hikes you are seeing right now likely are artificial.
And, every time OPEC cuts production, it's all artificial. They just did it again, so enjoy the reduction while it lasts. It's gonna go up again, and even higher than it was before.

I think I'll let Gov. Palin announce that Hydrogen can be produced at very low cost. That will give it national attention right off from the start. And, I'll soon find out which side she's really on.

At the TA in Rogers, MN - gas jumped from 3.54 to 3.80 - 26 cents, from Friday to Saturday.

Diesel is 3.86.

That is the narrowest spread between gas and diesel, in some time.

Don't go shopping for other stuff, though.
It'll cause a heart attack.

The jump in WI was about the same - $0.25-$0.30 cents. Diesel doesn't seem to be affected all that much though. Yet.

Crude oil this morning is 96.86. 5:55 am Monday.
We're below a hundred. OPEC's price target is 80 from what I heard on CNBC Friday.

OPEC had better enjoy $80 while it lasts.
