Default Taking a sicky

I just fancied having a day off in the house today. Just lazing about, scratching my arse and doing nuffink.

Hands up boys and girls; how many of you will freely admit to taking a (really false and hammy cough) sicky now and again?

Most of the days I miss from school is due to my medical condition which is severe asthma and a lung disorder. That is why I hate this time of year cause the weather change throws me for a loop every single year so I always miss school when the weather gets real cold and then hot and vice versa. So I prefer spring and summer weather. But I'll admit I have days where I just want to rest and catch up on sleep, but hey I can do it cause I got a scholarship and do all my work and still make A's and B's.

Last time I thought about doing that, I had planned to say I had a migraine.
Someone decided to punish me, I actually woke up with a migraine. I was so pissed about a potentially u seless day off, I spent a couple hours in bed taking my migraine meds, and went to work.

Does faking labor count. didn't ever do it for myself but My husband has had me call his work (not curreny employerI would like to add) and fake possible labor.

And one time my Stepdad was racing his Lime Green Mopar with me in it, I was nine months pregnant not in labor at all. When the Leo pulled him over I didn't realize that my Step dad had pointed to me as to the reason for his speeding. He was going fast enough to go to jail Im sure.

Anyway I realized it when we got a police escort lights and sirens all the way to a waiting hospital where workers and the cop were waiting for me. My mom was in the front seat laughed so hard she peed her pants for real. She disappeared with my maternity bag and I had to handle this big lie, I would like to say I was only sixteen at the time and I didn't know what I was suppose to be faking. I hated them both after that cause they just dumped their lie on me.

Sorry Wot to side track the thread but it reminded me of this story. Moral of this story is don't make chit up.
