there's another site you might check out--- who knows maybe that could make you a grant or loan or know where you can find more $$$$ to make your dreams come true.
It's Women In Trucking at: www.womenintrucking.org good luck; P.S. My wife says we can't spare any ponies for a 2nd wife. And you're devotion/loyality to your boyfriend is noted.....but, if he's not willing to "share the wealth--and help maintain and further YOUR dreams--- he doesn't deserve you. Find a new one--- or several as you desire.

Naw hon my fella is awesome... totally supportive of me wanting to be a trucker...went so far as to tell me if i didnt get my CDL he'd kick my butt clear back to Nebraska lol. And darn those first wives... they seem to get cranky at the thought of spending more ponies on a new girl... guess they dont figure the advantages of having an underling around outweigh the cost of the ponies lol
Update: Have to get my kid home from alaska so this dream is on hold till i know she isnt going to be needing counseling 3every other day for the hell her father put her through this past year.

a stable home life is important for bringing up children-- but the court also expects the single parent to be making $$$$.
You can "HOME SCHOOL" a child riding with you in the cab of a 18-wheeler- not easy but can be done, and spend "family time" with them too. Provided they aren't teens-- then they really do need the social interaction that can only be provide by peers in land based "home" setting. good luck,

yeah she's 15 going on 16 so i know its important for her to be in a regular school setting, plus with the garbage her father pulled i think she's going to be needing some counseling so i figure i better be available for that as well. She's just more important right now and getting her through till she feels confident enough to get out on her own is a prority for us. So for now i'll wait... looking into going through the technical college here and getting my CDL, maybe drive locally for a while but we'll see
