Sitting in this craphole they call Laredo, TX. Nothing really moves in or out of here on the weekends so in the morning I'll deliver this load to the forwarder and get a load going somewhere...

I did in fact make it to Jim's in Buffalo tonight. I was quite surprised to find not a single empty parking spot when I wheeled in here at 18:00. Usually there is a handful of spots left. I sat around in the middle of the lot for about 15 minutes and finally someone left. It's been interesting the past 2 days trying to drive with my clutch sticking when I push the peddle down. It's literally getting worse with each time I use it and the last half of today it was impossible. Since I'll be home tomorrow I've been nursing it and will drop my truck off at the dealer tomorrow.

The Loves in Atonka, Oklahoma. I would rather be in Gary at the Flying J.

I got home Tuesday afternoon but have done nothing but drive vehicles for the past 2 days. On the way home Tuesday drop Marten truck off at Peterbilt to get clutch cable replaced, mom came and got me. Wednesday morning wake up 6 am, drive firetruck 45 minutes away to drop off for service. Mom follows in my new pick up. Drive pick up to dealer 30 minutes farther to drop off for receiver install and other things, pick up loaner car. Drive loaner car 30 minutes to Peterbilt. Mom drives loaner car home, I wait for Marten truck. Repair takes longer, sit and wait for 4 hours. Drive Marten truck 45 minutes home. Arrive at 16:00. I felt like I worked all day for free. Today, wake up 6am. Drive another fire truck for service, mom follows in loaner car. Drop off fire truck, drive loaner to dealer. Pick up new truck. Drive new pick up back to fire truck service place, pick up the finished fire truck and drive home, arrive at noon. I can't wait to head back out on the road to get some rest ! Here's a pic of my new pick up if anyone cares....

LOL... I was actually in Bolingbrook but I flat-out refuse to stay at the I-55 Greater Chicago s*it hole so I opted to drive the hour... besides I had a free shower about to run out at the J. Alright... where are the damned smileys at???

(BTW... I'm spending the night right here at the house... I dont go back in the "rolling closet" 'till Monday morning.)
