Some companies like warner deserve to bashed and some companies need not to be.

My last companies I worked for was great. $26.50 per hour to driver a fork truck. A defined pension, wi sick pay, 5 weeks of paid vacation $100000 life insurance and so on. There was NO turn over rate. No need for trainers. 3 12 shifts one week and 4 12 the next. Sunday was paid at time and half and all overtime.

They closed after 90 years in business.

Cry Much? You could try and spell the name of the company you want to bash.

Driving ...got a load that drops in Pueblo,Co on the 5th so I parked the truck in Denver and came home to get all my stuff together ,and go back down and move into the truck...I kind of feel like I'm wasting my time cleaning and moving into it since they are pulling it off the raod this month ,And i'll be moving again ...which moving into a truck takes me all day since I clean every inch of the interior before I put my first personal belonging into the cab ,which i have many blengings and many of them rather weighty . So far I have no real complaints with GTS the dispatch is good the equipment is decent ,and my pay is on time ...The only negative is they run alot of east coast ,and have no EZ-PASS for the tolls ,and only pay for about 80 miles of the I-80 toll way ,so you end up taking the long slow us highway alternatives ,but it could be worse ...much worse .

Sounds like my short lived job as permanant employee at Coors Brewing in Golden Co driving a lift truck. I worked there as a temp for a couple years then got hired permanant ...beat out thousands of applicants for 10 jobs...and I had no friends or family that worked there ,So got the job stricly by being a stand out on performance ...however between the merger with molson /and ball mteal container I lost my job . But I was making 23.50hr plus all the benefits you mention ,and my health care was less than $20.00 a month ,and it was active the first day on the job ...not 90 days ...After I get a few more years under my belt I'm going to see if I can slowly work my way back into Coors Brewing in Golden as a Hostletr that paid $25 hr 7yrs ago I tyghink it's more like $27hr now ...But you work a defined shift with set hours and all the benefits Coors offers , But right now I'll be OTR for few more years I don't see myself driving OTR into my old age ,but right now I enjoy it and will be doing it for a few more years then I will look into the local stuff when I have about 7 yrs Experience ...I need to get my Haz-mat.Tanker,And Doubles Tripples endorsement next time on home time this way I have more options than just a dry van ...not to mention most of the good LTL jobs require doubles/tripples + Haz-MAT .
