After devloping my Epilepsy and then fighting the Social Security Beuracrats for 4 years with no lawyer I was granted my SSD I received 40,286 in back benefits all at once. Of course my ex wife made sure she spent it all in 2 freaking months.

No and she kept them all when we got divorced I call the last year of my marriage the 40K mistake. I could have had a new car and a down payment on a house with what she spent it on.

I'm puzzling over this... weren't you two talking about "we" things... like "We could put a down payment on a home..." or "We could buy a car..."

Maybe she didn't think she had anything to lose by spending it all on something she alone chose.

I had this Christian guy that preached all the time steal a lot from me... and luckily he's in prison now because the woman he took $30,000 from was smarter than me.

Didn't you see warning signs and want to put some of the money somewhere safe, for yourself?

Easy 6 months after I divorced my ex wife I got remarried and have never been happier. We met thru a domestic violence survior group and knew as soon as we met there was something there. If I had been smart and left my wife on the curb and had kept the money hid I right now would not be buying a Moblie Home on contract instead would be in a real framed house instead and also would have a car with about 120K less miles on it. My ex spent that money on crap SHE wanted nothing for me and what she bought she made sure it was stuff that was to big for me to bring back from WI where she moved to saying we go there I will be happy and we can save our marriage.

You need to realize my ex was an abusier in the emotional style she knew how to tear me down and keep me down.

Okay... so was that Christian guy I was telling you about...

So are you happy in the end? It sounds like it.

What if you'd stayed married to the other woman, that would have been a real tragedy... so maybe it's good she made you totally hate her.

Default Most in one day

One day last year the tire customer made a mistake and scheduled the load 1 day early. They could not take it and the company I'm leased to told them they were going to charge them for that trip then the trip back home and them the trip back the next day to deliver. They said no way, we'll just pay the detention which is 52.50 per hour for me (after 1st 2 hours). So I made 259.00 (220 miles) + 100 unloading + 64.00 fuel surcharge + 1155 Detention for a total $1578.00. It would have only been 969.00 to return the load for the customer. OOPS....lol
