Default Saw the oddest thing

today. While working thru traffic, flatbed driver next to me suddenly pops his brakes, gets out and proceeds to walk all the way around his truck before hopping back in and moving on while traffic was long gone ahead of him. My question is, WTF was he doing?? What I saw was that he appeared to be looking his load over and if so, then why not pull to the right shoulder and check it?? Why back up traffic even more??

Im not a driver so really I wouldnt know. However, maybe he felt his load shift or something and didnt want to move until he was sure the load wasnt about to fall off the flatbed.

I don't know Sheep, he was nearly empty. He had 2 pallets up over the drives, right against the headache rack. I thought that maybe he saw something in his mirror with a strap, but he walked all the way around real slowly and gave a slight tug on a strap that was not being used at the back of the trailer.
