Default Iran. Our survey says.....Nuke the bastards!!!!!

Britain and Iran edge closer to war as every day passes. The majority of the British people want us to launch a massive nuclear strike to annihilate Iran completely. What do you think?
I,m in the nuke em and send em back to the stone age camp...

Personally I would like to see us train and equip their people and help them to over through the government in Iran. I think it stinks that we help put in this form of government over in Iran! But then again we also helped Saddam to be in power and helped supply him with weapons also.

What are they saying in your news about the situation? I have not gone in and read your papers lately! I pray that your gal and guys get released soon!

I wouldn't go as far as nuking them, and until you get your people out you should hold tight. If you start bombing your people will surely die.

I saw a little of it on the news this morning, but don't know how or why they were captured?

The last thing I want to see is a nuclear war in any country. Part of the reason why we have such a huge national debt here in the U.S. is due to National defense spending. A huge % of the national defense spending in the U.S. is to maintain and build nuclear weapons. Do we need the miltary? Yes, but there is no reason for all these countries nowadays stock piling up on nuclear weapons. When these big nuclear wars happen who is going to win? The answer is that we won't know because we will all be dead.

I'm with nuking them but like glasman said, wait till your people are out. I say to nuke them but it isn't the people's fault, they don't like this leader of their's and I feel for them if we do nuke'em. They want him out but have no way of getting him out. They really don't want the US and Britain to come in with guns ablaze after what they saw happened in Iraq. We rolled Saddam's "superior" military up faster than France could have surrendered and destroyed the cities.

wot, I'm surprised to hear your fellow mates are willing to go give Iran an a$$kicking. From what the US media has been saying, the UK wants out of Iraq and wants a peaceful solution with Iran. That the UK can't stomach another war right now. Then again, take that with a grain of salt because our media is very biased and put their own spin on things instead of giving us the facts only and letting us, the people decide.

Wot!!

What considerations have been given to the fall-out??

My physician is from England, and we discussed the possibility of the nuclear option, and the potential consequences that could result, back in 1991, about a month before Operation Desert Shield evolved into Operation Desert Storm.

Now, from what I remember him telling me, there was a very limited window of opportunity, due to the wind and weather patterns in that part of the world. If too much time elapsed, the wind patterns would shift, and carry the radioactive fall-out over Europe.

Now, I don't know about the wind patterns in that part of the world, so it may be that this is a non-issue. If the winds carried the fall-out over Iraq (if that is even possible) then where would it leave the American Troops??

Also, how would this affect Isreal??

Glad to see this thread, we would welcome input from informed sources!!

Not only that, but ask yourself this question as well; If Iran and Iraq were nuked, who would be left to run the convenience stores, the donut shops, and the flea-bag motels in America?? 8)
