Girlfriend still is mad, I had her get out on the next run across the scale and we weighed in ok. She doesn't know I kicked the ice off the mudflaps and from under the frame first!

DOT let me go through since it was ice weight.

Now to try and make up for the girlfriend!

If there is ice on the truck and/or trailer, that can add a lot of weight in a hurry.

Regarding the weight, try to dump that crappy spring axle trailer and get an air-ride!

Well, no idea what was goin on with the weight of my truck. I delivered the load on Monday morning and went directly to a scale. This time the weight was dead on.

There was no ice or snow on the truck or trailer, and nothing changed over the weekend. The only thing I can even remotely guess is that the locations (about 2 miles apart) that I scaled previously were both maintained by the same scale company, and their weights were off.

As far as getting rid of the spring axle trailer - I'd love to. Small company though, and I guess the spring axles are cheaper...
