my truck has a cd player in it so I can't use the tape player adapter. it's annoying as shit that all i hear is static even on blank stations and have to switch stations every 2 seconds. my receiver might be a POS the XACT from walmart. sometimes if I hold my hand on it the static goes away then it starts right back when I take it off.

what can i do? grrrrr

I know this might sound crazy, but you might have to good of a stereo in your truck. The radio in my car would pick up to many stations that I couldnt get a clear station, so I have to uae the tape adapter. I probably have the same reciever that you have. when I move it to the truck, it works fine with the FM transmitter. So I would suggest you try it out in a different vehicle and see if it does the same thing.

literally, on the back of your docking station for sirius is a small hole. put a small sheetmetal screw in there it may be 1/8" if that much. screw it down eliminates the vibration and holds the two units together Should eliminate the static.If that doesn't do it call tech support ,they will have you send it in to be repaired or replaced no cost to you. Been there done that drove me nuts I even bought a new stereo for the truck.

just go to tssradio.com and order an f/m modulater, its about 20 bucks, you plug it into the back of your radio and plug your regular antenna into it and then the modulater plugs into your satellite reciever, when the satellite is off your f/m works just like normal, when the satellite is on you get no static at all, I had to put one on my sons car because the fm stations around here are so strong and it works perfectly.

tss radio is out of stock but you can get it at sirius.com its $19.99 plus shipping, the item number is FMDA25 its called a direct f/m adaptor. as long as you can get to the antenna plug on the back of your factory radio, you wont need anything else
